Our Operating Structure

Operations Division

Establishes ground and surface water rights, responsible for hydrometric services. Maintains, constructs, and evaluates water related structures. Provides regional support for programs.

Stewardship Division

Is responsible for watershed management activities including watershed and aquifer planning, development of partnerships and projects to reflect best management practices, and the monitoring and assessment of watershed landscapes to ensure the protection and restoration of the province's water sources.

Policy and Communications

Develops policy and legislative agenda. Conducts public education, corporate communications and marketing of programs.

Corporate and Human Services

Supports human resource development, financial services and information technology and is responsible for recruitment.

Legal Services

Provides legal services and advice on legislation interpretation, legislation development and constitutional issues.
