Saskatchewan appears to have infinite water resources to sustain our lives and livelihoods, while offering opportunities for recreational, commercial and industrial use.
In reality, all water is a finite resource that, if we are not careful about how and when we use it, will become scarce. Reducing water loss, waste or use in and around
your home requires a short term investment in time and money that will result in immediate and long term savings for you.
Water conservation does not mean you have to give up convenience or comfort - just be water wise by reducing your use when possible, retrofitting existing taps, toilets and appliances,
and investing in water and energy efficient options if you are replacing water using devices within your home.
The booklet Water Use in Your Home: What you need to know to use less and spend less offers important tips on conserving water.
