Project WILD is a fun, hands-on, instructional resource activity guide, that supplements the Saskatchewan K-12 curriculum. Project WILD meets the needs of students with differing learning abilities and learning styles, and is well suited for use in multi-graded classrooms.

Recommended by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education, the program is specifically cross-referenced to Core Science Grades 1-10, and Biology 20 & 30. Project WILD is also linked to the Guides and Scouts Canada programs.

The 462-page Project WILD Activity Guide contains 121 complete lesson plans covering such topics as:

  • People's relationship to wildlife and the environment
  • Ecological concepts
  • Wildlife in social and cultural contexts
  • Riparian ecosystems
  • Aquatic species and habitat
  • Current environmental issues
  • Responsible human actions

Project WILD workshops are delivered by trained teacher facilitators. Upon completion, educators receive a copy of the 462-page Project WILD Activity Guide and the cross-reference guide to the Saskatchewan Core Science and Biology 20 &30 Curricula.
