Project WILD is a fun, hands-on, instructional resource activity guide, that supplements the Saskatchewan K-12 curriculum.
Project WILD meets the needs of students with differing learning abilities and learning styles, and is well suited for use in
multi-graded classrooms.
Recommended by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education, the program is specifically cross-referenced to Core Science Grades 1-10,
and Biology 20 & 30. Project WILD is also linked to the Guides and Scouts Canada programs.
The 462-page Project WILD Activity Guide contains 121 complete lesson plans covering such topics as:
- People's relationship to wildlife and the environment
- Ecological concepts
- Wildlife in social and cultural contexts
- Riparian ecosystems
- Aquatic species and habitat
- Current environmental issues
- Responsible human actions
Project WILD workshops are delivered by trained teacher facilitators. Upon completion, educators receive a copy of the 462-page Project WILD
Activity Guide and the cross-reference guide to the Saskatchewan Core Science and Biology 20 &30 Curricula.
